On morning of Dec. 25, 2018, the first Dual-fuel (LNG/Fuel) 6500HP ASD tugboat, which is built for Ningbo Zhoushan Port, was successfully launched in our company.
The vessel fully shows the development concept of low carbon, green and environment protection in terms of energy saving and emission reduction. Driven by dual-fuel engines, the vessel can realize the exchange between fuel oil and LNG, and the fuel substitution can be up to 90%. Operating in gas mode, the vessel can reduce 50% emission of SOX, 98% emission of particle matter, 80% emission of NOX and 22% emission of CO2. The dual-fuel ASD tugboat is a representative product of upgrading and replacing in China’s port ASD engineering vessels.
